A little less than a year before The Night was released, Mark Sandman collapsed onstage due to various things, such as temperature at the time, and possibly getting stabbed in the chest working as a cab driver. Morphine broke up shortly after this happened.
Skip about a year, Twinemen's born. Named after a comic he wrote about balls of twine forming a band, they are composed of Morphine's previous two members and other members of Face to Face. They have a pretty unique sound but don't jump in expecting anything too replicated of morphine. It's different in many multiple ways. Hell, I even feel a fine amount of Treat Her Right influence in this.
